I am not on a yarn &quot;diet&quot; as such this year, but I am trying to be much more responsible and sensible with my purchases. I think allowing yourself to buy yarn when travelling is a great idea. Yarn makes a great souvenir - much more practical than something that is just going to sit on a shelf and collect dust!<br /><br />Isn&#39;t Kate&#39;s Boreal beautiful? It is going to be my next sweater project. I can see a slight problem for me in that I am determined to knit BOREAL as my first challenge this year and - you&#39;ve guessed it - I don&#39;t have suitable yarn in my stash. I will have to buy it in - but I will do this carefully and take my time I promise.
