I saw this over at the Needled Blog and did a quick search - this is an intriguing idea - such an obvious way to respect that time is passing.

I saw this on Kate's blog too and wondered about it. We have a dachshund puppy, so it wouldn't do well in our home either. Plus it is a bit pricey.
